Wayne A. Cottle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dean Bank, announced today that fourteen seniors from Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School have been awarded $100 each as part of the Dean Bank Scholars Program. As a member of the High Schools That Work (HSTW) network, Tri-County participates in the bi-annual assessment of 100 randomly selected seniors in English, mathematics, and science. Students who meet the HSTW goal scores for these assessments and who complete the HSTW recommended coursework in at least two of the three tested areas, receive the HSTW Achievement Award. This year, Dean Bank enhanced the reward for students who met this standard by instituting the Dean Bank Scholars program, presenting $100 cash awards to each of the Tri-County winners. June Renaghan, manager of the Bank’s full-service branch and educational facility at Tri-County High School presented the following students with their Dean Bank Scholar awards: Brandy Emery, Scott Masterson, Melissa Callahan, Francis Harper, Robynne Vieira, Richard Burgess, Lauren Berghman, Nathaniel Mitsmenn, Jennifer Carpenter, Steven Doherty, Devin Gray, Aaron Mazzulla, Samantha Tomlinson, and Robert Egan.
