Dean Bank sponsors food and toy drive

FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS,
December 1, 2006

Wayne A. Cottle, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dean Bank, announced today that Dean Bank will once again be sponsoring a Food and Toy Drive in the month of December to benefit families in need in each town the Bank has branches in. While many eagerly anticipate the holidays as a time to celebrate with lavish meals and gifts, others look to this season with anxiety and fear about providing food and toys for their family.

Canned goods & non-perishable food items can be dropped off at 21 Main Street Franklin and 32 Hastings Street (Rt.16) Country Hill Plaza, Mendon to benefit both the Franklin and Mendon Food Pantries. Unwrapped Toys for Tots can be dropped off at 411 Pulaski Boulevard, Bellingham and 8 Main Street, Blackstone for the Bellingham and Blackstone Fire Departments to distribute to area families. Please join Dean Bank in meeting the needs of our community this holiday season by dropping off donations at these convenient locations during business hours in December.

Dean Bank, founded in 1889, is a Massachusetts state-chartered, mutually owned institution with assets in excess of $200 million. The bank has offices located in Franklin, Bellingham, Blackstone, and Mendon and a full-service educational and training facility at Tri-County Regional Vocational High School in Franklin. As a member of both the FDIC and the SIF, the bank’s deposits are insured in full.
