Here are some tips and tricks that other Dean Bank Online users have submitted regarding use of the Security Matrix and Multi-Factor Authentication.

“I saved my email with the Security Matrix in it to a folder in my email. Each time I need to sign on to Dean Bank Online, I open that email that I have saved so I can refer to the Matrix for the coordinates I need to sign on.”

“I originally prompted the system to email the Matrix to my home email, so I forwarded the email to my work email address and saved it in a folder there as well, so now I can access it if I’m at home or at work.”

“I printed the email with my Matrix in it. Then I cut out the Matrix and I keep it folded up in my wallet. I treat it like I would my ATM card.”

“I used Microsoft Excel to re-create my Matrix in a spreadsheet that I could print out very small. I cut it out and I keep that small sheet in my day-planner for easy reference.” Click here to download your own Microsoft Excel template.
