Student Savings is a national school-based savings program sponsored locally by Dean Bank. The program teaches young children how to save and gives them the opportunity to do their banking at school.
Participating students open a statement savings account that has no monthly service charges or minimum balance requirements. Interest is earned on all deposits, and statements are issued quarterly. Accounts are opened in the name of both the child and a parent or guardian. Deposits may be made at any participating school or at any Dean Bank branch. Withdrawals can only be made at Dean Bank.
