Dean Bank's renovation of its Bellingham Branch/Plaza nearing completion

Test

BELLINGHAM, MASSACHUSETTS, August, 2014 … Kevin R. Goffe, President and CEO of Dean Bank announced that renovation plans for its branch and exterior of the Dean Bank Plaza located at 411 Pulaski Blvd. (Crooks Corner), have neared completion.

Goffe stated: “Through cooperation with town officials, coordination with our design and general contractor partners as well as the patience of our customers, staff and Plaza patrons, the project is nearing the end. We are delighted by the results achieved and we are grateful for the support of our plaza tenants and branch personnel despite the disruption to the daily operations.” Goffe added: “The plaza and branch were constructed in the mid 1980’s and much of the original design remained. It was time for everything to gain a fresh, modern and bright makeover. Based on the feedback we’ve received so far, it’s safe to say “Mission Accomplished!””

The branch interior now features an entirely new design and layout, which will improve the overall experience for bank customers. It includes a café area with complimentary coffee or tea and comfortable seating in a lounge environment. It has also been equipped with a technology section where customers can charge their mobile devices, take advantage of free wifi and test-drive the bank’s new electronic services on an iPad. Office privacy was enhanced, new décor installed and security remains of paramount importance. Goffe wants all to know that customers are welcome to take a few minutes before or after their transactions are complete to explore the branch and find out how we can help improve your financial future.

The branch and plaza had considerable cosmetic and structural changes to the exterior too. Goffe stated: “Our tenants are all local businesses who have a stake in this community. We understand that in order to thrive, they need a clean, modern and attractive plaza that gets noticed by vehicles driving by, day or night. We feel that the enhancements do just that…provide an eye-catching new look to the thousands of potential customers that travel through Crooks Corner every day.”
