Dean Bank is aware of the recently discovered Heartbleed bug that has been the subject of recent attention and discussion in the media. This security exploit allows unauthorized access to secure websites, possibly exposing usernames and passwords.
We have verified that all systems and networks at Dean Bank are not susceptible to the Heartbleed Bug and we are in the process of confirming with our third party processing vendors that they are not vulnerable as well.
